Ñu - Cuentos De Ayer Y De Hoy (1978) (ES)

Ñu es un grupo de heavy rock/rock progresivo con influencias folk español liderado por el cantante y flautista José Carlos Molina, inspirado en la música del grupo de rock británico Jethro Tull y de su líder, Ian Anderson. Cuenta con una de las mayores trayectorias en su género musical en España.

El origen del grupo se remonta a 1975 cuando José Carlos Molina y Rosendo Mercado cambiaron el nombre de Fresa, en cuya formación destacaba el batería Fermín Galán Lerena, al de Ñu.

El nombre de Ñu parece ser una reivindicación a la Ñ española ya que en aquella época casi ningún grupo de rock hacia letras en castellano y también porque el nombre "se veía grande" en un cartel de un concierto, como afirma Molina.

La marcha de Rosendo Mercado, tras ser sustituido por su ausencia para realizar el servicio militar y fundar el mítico grupo Leño deja a José Carlos Molina como único líder del grupo.
