Humble Pie una banda de rock formada em 1969 por Steve Marriott (The Small Faces), Peter Frampton, Greg Ridley (ex-Spooky Tooth) e Jerry Shirley. Frampton dejó Humble Pie en 1971 para iniciar su carrera en solitario.Con Dave Clempson substituiendo a Frampton, Humble Pie evoluciona a un sonido más pesado de blues y soul.

Otro grupo con poca repercusión en su momento que solo gravó dos LPs en el 68 ("The Hook will grab you" y "Hooked") es otra muestra de que la calidad de la música y el éxito no siempre van de la mano. Los componentes a la guitarra Bobby Arlin (venia de The Leaves) al teclado Dennis Provisor (despues de Hook toco con los Grass Roots), al bajo Buddy Sklar y el bateria Dale Loyola. En su música destacan el organo y guitarras.

Jeffrey "Jeff" Wayne nació en Norteamérica pero se crió en Inglaterra.
Esta edición remasterizada las grabaciones de 1978, ha doblado los diálogos con Teófilo Martínez (excelente actor de doblaje), que sustituye a Richard Burton en la edición oficial.

La composición de Jeff, contó con las magistrales interpretaciones de David Essex y Phil Lynott, cantante y bajista de los Thin Lizzy y Justin Hayward, cantante y guitarrista de los "The Moody Blues".
